Health and safety officer needed in Stockport to start immediately.

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

The candidate will require a relevant Occupational Health & Safety qualification (Level 4 or above, such as NEBOSH General Certificate).

Ideally experienced in working within a local authority setting or other large multi-disciplinary organisation where you can evidence experience of providing operational health, safety and wellbeing advice across a wide range of services. Ideally the candidate should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the safety challenges that schools present and must have experience of carrying out safety audits, safety inspections and completing risk assessments.

The role will work from home but will be required to visit various premises, therefore access to a car would be an advantage. Casual mileage payments apply.
