SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS - 2 POSITIONS (PRIMARY) 

APRIL - JULY 2021

Vida Education are looking for experienced teaching assistants to work in a lovely primary school in the Preston area. The school are currently recruiting for two teaching assistants to work on a one-to-one basis with two different children. Due to the nature of the pupils you will be working with, prior experience working as an SLD/PMLD teaching assistant is essential. They are looking for candidates who can commit to the role on a long-term basis to be able to provide continued support to the pupils. 

The roles will be 5 days and week and the school can be flexible in terms of offering part days, for the right candidate where you would work mornings until lunch time.

In order to be considered for the post of Supply Teacher, you will need to:

  • Prior SEN/D Teaching Assistant experience. 
  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
  • Be reliable, committed and flexible. 
  • Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.
  • An ENHDANCED DBS Certificate (or be willing to apply of one)
