Job Description:
Senior DevOps Engineer
As a Senior DevOps developer, you will collaborate with Architect, Development and Test Teams in order to provision and support the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality software. You will be experienced in managing build and deployment processes, integrating solution components, test automation frameworks and code quality tools.
Responsibilities

- Collaborating with Architects and Developers to build and deploy new versions of applications to managed environments
- Actively participating in architecture discussions and proposes solutions to system and product changes cross teams.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation relating to DevOps frameworks
- Progressing the technologies, tools and techniques used within the DevOps team
- Hands-on involvement in building deployment and testing pipelines, automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure support services such as monitoring. There are a lot of moving pieces to fit together so communication is essential to ensure stuff is not missed.
- You will be depended upon for advice regarding the cross-functional aspects of user stories which may not always be obvious from the start.

- An eagerness to learn enough about whatever tools or tricks are needed to get the job done successfully, with great quality
- Extensive experience working with server virtualisation, IaaS and PaaS cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Infrastructure provisioning tools (such as Docker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Packer, CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Scripting and programming languages (such as Perl, Python, Go etc.)
- Proficiency in building Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
- Passion for and ability to work with software development teams releasing production-ready software on a regular basis
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GoCD)
- Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Some experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
- Operations team experience
