Projects Manager

The Company:

A multi-site company with a portfolio of instantly recognisable brands, deign and manufacture a variety of bespoke FMCG products tailored to the customers requirement.

They have a number of manufacturing plants up and down the UK and are investing heavily in these plants to ensure they stay top of their game in terms of new technologies and delivering on growing customers demand for their products.

This is a large group with money to invest so you will get to work on some multi-million pound capital projects that will challenge you.

The Role:

• Managing capital expenditure projects across 2 manufacturing plants
• Planning and delivering high value machinery projects for the group
• This could be new machinery installations, factory extensions and machine improvement projects
• You will also be tasked with identifying areas within the business that can be improved, looking at bottlenecks in production or areas where new technology good improves business performance and reduce costs

Required Experience:

• The Successful projects manager will have experience of managing and delivering high value capital projects within the manufacturing sector.
• If you have experience of running projects within an automated manufacturing plant that would be ideal.
• You must be able to deliver on multiple projects at a time and be highly organised with great communication skills
• An engineering background and qualification is essential
