Job Description:
Home-based remote working opportunity
You can work independently or as part of a broader team to deliver modern data integration solutions for clients.
The Informatica Consultant will work on end-to-end solutions, typical projects will include:
- Implementation of API centric integration solutions
- Development of data ingestion pipelines
- Implementation of data cleansing and data quality improvements as part of an integration solution
- Designing the right implementation solution to meet a client’s requirements
- Design and implementation of data streaming solutions
In addition, you will be expected to support the growth of the company by contributing to our knowledge base and IP, managing and mentoring junior consultants, and supporting sales and bid work.
Skills and competencies required for the Informatica Consultant
In addition to your strong communication skills, both oral and written, you'll have the ability to express technical concepts and issues into user friendly language, understanding Cloud Concepts and offering technical experience in one or multiple roles:
- Informatica IICS
- Informatica CAI
- Informatica DEI/BDM
- Informatica PowerCenter(administration)
- API Integration
- Real Time Integration
- Data Warehousing, Data Lakes and Big Data
- SQL/No SQL
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques, with a focus on requirements capture and analysis
- SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile and DevOps
Nice to have skills and competencies:
Further knowledge in the informatica product suite which can include the following:
- MDM(all domains)
- Axon
- EDC
- Enterprise integration platforms and patterns
- Exposure to modern cloud based data solutions including
- Snowflake
- Streamsets
- Databricks
- Azure Synapse
- Azure Data Factory
- AWS Redshift
- Knowledge of enterprise applications and how to integrate with them, including SAP, SFDC and others
- Knowledge of modern delivery techniques including DevOps and Micro Services
- Certification in either Informatica, AWS or Azure
