Development Management Manager needed in Bournemouth £24.80ph PAYE - Reference:5184139

This role will involve:

• To efficiently manage the service provision of the Development Management Team covering the Poole area and to ensure advice is provided to the client in accordance with statutory, national and local requirements.
• To efficiently manage human and financial resources as directed in accordance with the procedures of the client.
• To represent the client where appropriate in a professional manner that safeguards the reputation of the client; promoting a positive perception of the service and developing a culture of providing excellent customer care to all service users.
• To establish and maintain credible and effective working relationships, both internally and with external organisations.

Ideally candidates will have:

• Planning related degree and further professional qualification in a relevant subject or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
• Professional competence in relation to planning
• Management qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Member of a professional body MRTPI
• Experience in both strategic and operational management of planning services and functions
• Leadership of high-profile innovative projects or policy development which have a wide-ranging impact and reputational risk

 This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
