Mechanical Plant Operative needed in Bedford £8.91ph ref:5185580

This role will involve:

As a member of a team, to be responsible for operating vehicles in line with job requirements and daily tasks and needs.

This will include operation of mechanical plant equipment such as Digger, Dumper, Excavator, Compact Sweeper, Tractor, Skip Lorries in compliance with required Driving Licence requirements.

To carry out tasks associated with mechanical plant equipment.

Ideally candidates will have:

• Hold a current clean driving licence which includes C Category, Category C1 for Compact Sweepers, Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC), qualified to CPC standard
• Must have the ability to use a range of hand tools as and when required.
• Demonstrate competency (including any required certificates/ qualifications) in use of service machinery and equipment, and/ or to be prepared to undergo necessary training.
