So, here’s the craic…they have grown ridiculously fast.  They currently have a team of 2 3rd line analysts and these guys need help.  It’s only a company of about 250 people, but as it’s a fast paced, high transactional environment there is a lot that can go wrong, and when it does things need to be back up and running quick!

You will be most senior technical lead in the team, overseeing BAU, managing the Azure servers & cloud model working closely with the Devops Engineer. responsible for maintaining the organisation’s Information Security Management Framework (Cyber Essentials Plus) In addition to maintenance and support you will also own a stream of exciting project work on the IT Roadmap covering innovations in hosting, integration, security etc

• Experience of managing, administrating, supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft technologies, networking and products (essential deep skills in Windows Servers, Exchange and SQL, Windows 10, Multi-Forest / Site Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, PowerShell, Microsoft 365 services, InTune/MDM and AutoPilot, MFA Technologies, configuration of NextGen Firewalls/ multi-site Networking concepts, Layer 3 Switches, VLANs, VPNs, Routing, DNS/DHCP) preferably in a Microsoft Azure, IaaS environment, but we will consider someone with solid private cloud/on-premise experience looking to transition skills to public cloud.
• Virtual Server infrastructure – Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare and Storage Area Networks. Experience in Kubernetes is desirable but not essential.
• Windows Server Backups – Azure and Veeam.
