C# Developer - .Net Core - Web Applications - JavaScript – Azure - Remote

Backend Developer with strong C#, web apps and .Net Core development experience needed for a business going through a major tech refresh and development programme. As part of the software development team, you will be responsible for developing new web applications, integrating products, and developing existing products across their software landscape, particularly focussing on back-end development and integration
 

Accountabilities

• Enabling the effective integration of web-based and internal applications via the development of appropriate web services.
• Maintaining existing web applications and contribute to the development of new systems using a .Net framework.
• Analyse application enhancement requests and propose solutions
• TDD to ensure adherence to agreed quality assurance standards.

Key skills:

• Solid understanding of web application development processes, application integration via web services, and relational database structures.
• Knowledge of the MVC software architecture  
• Experience in developing web services and REST APIs
• Experience in ASP.NET, C#, .NET framework, AJAX, Azure, .NET core.
• Experience of developing software using frontend technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience of unit testing web methods and web development projects
• Experience of database languages, such as SQL
• Experience of setting up or using a version control system, preferably Azure DevOps, Github, or TFS
