Marketing Manager needed in Leeds £24.72 per hr PAYE - Reference:5191629

This role will involve:

• Work to deliver the Communications & Marketing Strategy to achieve the objectives of the client. Ensure your team work well with project and policy leads to ensure that specific project plans and strategies are translated into integrated communications and marketing plans.
• Advise colleagues on the PR/PA external environment and to develop the most effective context for our operation and pitches, ensuring that project briefs set out clear, realistic communications and marketing objectives, are in tune with key audiences need and comply with corporate communications processes.
• Represent the client at a local, regional and national level, managing the flow of PR/PA activity and dependent communications projects to ensure that its views & values are clearly and accurately expressed.
• Strategically plan PR/PA activity deciding the best timings of campaigns, stories and interventions to maximise coverage and impact. Manage the commissioning, briefing of external suppliers including, but not limited to, communications agencies, creative agencies, PR/PA agencies and digital agencies.
• Lead the management of the production of high quality stories, interventions and influencing opportunities & the content for a range of on and off-line communications including e-newsletters, websites, related social media channels, blogs, marketing collateral, and publications. Tasks include providing direction internally and externally on story development and deployment.

Ideally candidates will have:

• Educated to Degree level with relevant qualification in marketing, PR or communications, or equivalent experience
• Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Chartered Institute of Marketing membership

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
