First Response Officer needed in Oldham £10.91 per hr  PAYE - Reference:0005 4486 / 1

This role will involve:

• To support the development and implementation of quality systems to ensure that the services delivered by the Group are quality driven being responsive to customer needs, effective and efficient in operation and provided in accordance with the Customer Care Policy.
• Under the direction of the Senior First Response Officer on scene, to support the First Response to incidents including:
  • Supporting the dynamic risk assessment
  • Implementing procedures in accordance with the Service Terms of Reference
  • Monitoring and continuously reporting, using radio communications, back to the Emergency Control Centre
  • Implementing approved emergency plans and procedures
  • Liaison with forward incident officers from partner agencies
  • Undertaking the handover of responsibility to oncoming Officers
  • Participating in the stand down of resources
• To implement emergency procedures at a scene, including monitoring and modifying the behaviour of other staff to ensure compliance with approved safe systems of work.
• To carry out security duties as directed including routine patrolling and alarm response in order to actively discourage theft, vandalism and protect public buildings, assets and spaces

Ideally candidates will have a standard DBS

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
