Housing Options Advisor needed in Thrapston at £25.00 per hr PAYE - Reference:HQ00021679

This role will involve:

The purpose of the post is to provide operational housing access advice and homelessness prevention, support and assessment services to enable the continuing improvement of  Services. Under the direction of the Housing Options Manager the post holder will provide housing advice and homelessness services in accordance with the Keyways Housing & Allocation Policy and Government Legislation. There is a special emphasis on improving the quality of customer service, managing homeless cases within current legislation and supporting the prevention of homelessness.

The post holder will work within a busy fast paced Housing Options Team to deliver all services relating to the statutory homeless function.  This will include but not limited to dealing with triage, assessing applications, homeless emergencies and arranging temporary accommodation. 

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
