The successful candidate will provide high‑quality, timely legal advice across all areas of Adult Social Care, including safeguarding, mental capacity, Court of Protection matters, community care, and related statutory duties. They will manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision, draft and review complex legal documentation, and represent the authority in negotiations, meetings, and proceedings. The role requires a proactive, solutions‑focused approach, ensuring decisions are legally robust, risk‑aware, and aligned with current legislation and case law.
