Oracle Kvm Migration Engineer needed in Bradford

This is a temporary role and the rate is £502.60 per day

The successful candidate will be an experienced Oracle KVM Migration Engineer to undertake a hands-on migration of virtual machines from a VMware environment to physical hosts running Oracle KVM. This role is implementation-focused – we are looking for a skilled professional who can execute the migration end-to-end, ensuring the new environment is set up correctly, optimized, and fully operational. Advisory-only candidates will not be considered.

• Plan, prepare, and execute the migration of workloads from VMware to Oracle KVM physical hosts.
• Configure and optimize Oracle KVM hosts for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure all virtual machines, applications, and data are migrated with minimal downtime
• Validate and test migrated workloads to ensure integrity and performance.
