Key Responsibilities

ICT Service Delivery

• Manage the effective operational delivery of ICT services, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.
• Monitor and improve service performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction measures.
• Ensure effective delivery of ICT support functions, including Service Desk, Information Governance, and Security.
• Drive service excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and best practice service management.

Leadership and Management

• Provide day-to-day leadership across ICT operational teams.
• Support and motivate teams to deliver high-quality customer-focused services.
• Work collaboratively with ICT managers across infrastructure, applications, development, security, and service support functions.
• Deputise for the Head of ICT & Data Security as required.

Project and Transformation Delivery

• Lead and deliver ICT projects and programmes within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Support organisational transformation initiatives by ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives.
• Contribute to digital transformation programmes and service improvement activities.

Governance, Security and Risk Management

• Ensure ICT services operate within established governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Support effective risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber security arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with information governance, security standards, and relevant legislation.

Stakeholder and Supplier Management

• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into practical ICT solutions.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, and service agreements to ensure value for money and high-quality service delivery.

Financial Management

• Support the management of ICT operational and capital budgets.
• Monitor expenditure and identify opportunities for efficiency savings.
• Contribute to procurement exercises, business cases, and technology investment planning.
