Information Governance and Platforms Lead needed in Bradford

This is a temporary role and the rate is £22.20ph PAYE

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening information governance and improving the accessibility, quality and security of information across Adult Social Care, Health and Housing.

They will champion the effective use of information systems, supporting teams to manage demand and improve outcomes, while providing expert advice on FOI, SARs, data protection requirements and cross‑departmental information needs. They will lead on the coordination and response to information rights requests, maintain accurate governance records, assess and advise on data security incidents, and support colleagues with DPIAs, data sharing agreements and records management.

They will work collaboratively with senior leaders, incident owners and service teams, liaise with external bodies such as the ICO, and contribute to departmental projects to ensure information governance standards are met. They will also help develop policies, deliver training, communicate best practice, and continuously enhance their own knowledge to support high‑quality, compliant and transparent information management.
