Specialist Home Improvement Agency Surveyor needed in Westminster

This is a temporary role and the rate is £212.14 per day PAYE

The successful candidate will manage the delivery of specialist disability adaptations, ensuring complex installations such as level‑access showers, stairlifts, ramps, wheelchair lifts and ceiling track hoists are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. They will oversee a broad programme of home improvement, repairs, damp and condensation works, and disrepair cases across residential properties, carrying out thorough inspections at pre‑start, interim and post‑completion stages.

They will manage a varied caseload from initial assessment through to completion, driving performance, quality assurance, compliance and health and safety across all contractors and suppliers. The role requires effective supervision of Surveyors and Trainee/Apprentice Surveyors, supporting their development and coordinating workload. The successful candidate will investigate defects, complaints and service issues, ensuring residents receive timely, professional resolutions, while contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives. They will build strong partnerships with internal teams, contractors, healthcare professionals and external agencies, ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation, regulations and organisational policies.
