Solution Architect needed in Lewes £19.24ph PAYE - Reference : 4665ESCC

This is Working Full Time hours on a temporary contract basis

The main purpose of the role is to deliver the design and build of technical architecture of a number of components of the Our Care Connected Solution which will be hosted in MS Azure.

The approach leaver’s infrastructure as a service and deployment is managed through Terraforms.
You will:-
• Undertake structured analysis of technical issues, translating this analysis into technical designs that describe a solution
• be consulted about design and provide design patterns
• identify deeper issues that need to be addressed
• look for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure the solution is fully documented to support the transfer to BAU support.

The focus of the delivery is to support the design and development of an integration layer within Sussex enabling sharing of data across Sussex between Health and Care Providers for 1.8m citizens.
The integration layer will also connect to National Services enabling the transfer of data across the 4 countries.
The integration layer will be delivered to meet National policies of Cloud and internet 1st. It will utilise MS Azure could services configured to deliver best value for money and low maintenance costs in the business as usual context.
Industry best practice will be implemented to ensure the necessary security standards and data interfaces will meet FHIR standards.

Technical environment is focused on:-
• The .Net Standard and Core Frameworks
• Moving to Continuous Integration & Deployment (Azure Devops and Terraforms)
• Azure cloud solutions
• ASP.Net Core / MVC
• Asp Web API .Net Core 2.1
• SQL
• HTML, CSS
• JavaScript incl. JS libraries and workflows (WebPack, SPA etc.)
• RESTful services (JSON)
• NHS standards eg FHIR, OpenEPR

Main Tasks and Responsibilities-
• Undertake analysis of Design the relevant architecture. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical colleagues
• Work with experienced team members to conduct analysis of issues, review new and existing solutions
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
• Resolve complex technical design issues
• Develop technical specifications and plans
• Provide comprehensive support to the programme
• Achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
• Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
