Personal Assistant needed in Dudley paying £11.49 per hr PAYE Ref:445666

This role is working full time hours on a temporary basis

To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Service and/or nominees as when required, to be proactive and undertake comprehensive management of appointments/ conferences and deal with enquiries on a day to day basis.

Ideally candidates will have:

  • BTEC National in Business Studies/NVQ Administration Level 3 or above
  • Extensive previous experience of working as a Personal Assistant to a Senior Manager and/or Head of Service
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Agresso
  • Experience of setting up/maintaining office systems
  • Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive issues with tact, and diplomacy as well as being discrete
  • Previous experience in local Government or other large complex organisational setting
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, face to face and telephone Manner
  • Demonstrable excellent secretarial skills including numerical, verbal reasoning, literacy, technology and communications with the ability to produce accurate documents to high standard of presentation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to oversee and advise lower level administration / clerical staff
  • Ability to service meetings, take meetings minutes and provide Hospitality
